Professional Dog Grooming Program

A comprehensive, non-accredited pathway to professional results. This 4-week (20-day) course gives you the knowledge to safely handle dogs through every aspect of grooming, from bathing to clipping — recognising coat types and choosing the correct tools, equipment and products for the job. On completion you receive a Certificate of Achievement from our academy.

Please note: this is not an accredited course. If you want a nationally recognised qualification, see our accredited options — including the ACM30122 Certificate III.

• Safe handling techniques
• Grooming skills from clipping to scissors

Course delivery

Delivered over 4 weeks with hands-on training in a mobile grooming trailer. Training may also involve travelling to clients, giving you real experience of a mobile grooming setup (dependent on booked clients and suitability).
